dr. brown in organic gardening can't seem to get my name right. he does this thing where he'll ask you your name mid-lecture, then later on, he'll talk to you some more and attempt to remember your name. eventually, he catches on after a few days and doesn't have to ask your name at all anymore. not with me. he didn't start calling on me until recently, but he hasn't gotten my name after four or five class periods. today, i told him my name, then he couldn't remember it like 10 minutes later. "thank you mr, uh, uh, uh..," obviously suggesting that i should remind him of my name. i intentionally let him squirm for a bit, and he started throwing out guesses. among these guesses were christie and mixie. what the fuck.
